Jayden Reed suffers shoulder injury early in Week 2 vs. Commanders

Jayden Reed is dealing with an injury for the Green Bay Packers as they take on the Washington Commanders on "Thursday Night Football" to start Week 2.

Reed attempted to come down with a deep pass from quarterback Jordan Love in the first quarter, but landed awkwardly as a defender sprawled on top of him. He was able to come off the field under his own power, and then collapsed on the sideline in pain. He was taken into the blue medical tent and then escorted to the locker room.

Reed ended up leaving the field and going into the blue medical tent. When he came out, he put a towel over his head and was escorted to the locker room for more testing. The broadcast said that Reed could take only a few steps before having to take a second to gather himself and then continue. He was taken into the x-ray room to be evaluated by doctors.
