West Ham have some big decisions to make on the contracts front ahead of next summer

West Ham are back in Premier League action this weekend after the international break. They face a home clash against Tottenham Hotspur at the London Stadium. Graham Potter’s side have three points on the board from their first three fixtures in the new season.

The Hammers won 3-0 away at Nottingham Forest in their last game. Jarrod Bowen, Lucas Paqueta and Callum Wilson got themselves on the scoresheet at The City Ground. The Hammers will be hoping for some of the same again against Spurs up next as they eye another result.

West Ham players who are out of contract in 2026

Lukasz Fabianski: West Ham have recently re-signed the goalkeeper on a one-year deal. He will become a free agent again in June next year. In the meantime, he will inject more experience into their goalkeeping department over the next 12 months.

Following his return, he has said: “I’m really, really, really happy to be back because this Club obviously means a lot for me and the people at this Club as well. Seeing them again, it felt nice and beautiful.

“I’ve always been, and I will be for sure, a player who is always putting the team above my personal goals. I think then maybe people see me as a good person to be around, a good person to have in the team in terms of what I bring and so it’s not only about me, it’s about the team.

“I’m here to support, to keep the standards high. I have huge experience as well, so I think it can be useful. For sure, I’ll continue to work the way I’ve always been doing, which is always hopefully at a good level but, at the same time, I understand that my role is completely different.”

Andrew Irving: His contract with the Hammers expires at the end of the campaign and they will need to weigh up his next move. The 25-year-old, who has made one cap for the Scotland national team, currently provides more competition and depth to their midfield department. He has made two appearances so far this term so is still part of Potter’s plans for now.

More West Ham players who are facing uncertain futures

Guido Rodriguez: West Ham landed the 31-year-old last year to boost their options in the middle of the park. However, his move to England hasn’t gone to plan. He isn’t guaranteed regular minutes and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him move on in the near future.

Callum Wilson: He scored for the Hammers in their latest encounter against Nottingham Forest. The forward will be eager to add to his tally over the coming weeks and months. He cut ties with fellow top flight side Newcastle United at the end of June and subsequently became a free agent for a brief period.

George Earthy: The 21-year-old penned a three-year extension back in 2023 that expires next year. He has been on the books at West Ham for his whole career to date and rose up through their academy ranks. The prospect spent time on loan at Bristol City in the Championship last term to get some experience under his belt.
