Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft had a night to remember on Thursday, as he helped his team take down the visiting Washington Commanders at Lambeau Field, 27-18.
The former North Dakota State Jackrabbits star was a steady presence in the passing attack for Green Bay, leading his team with a total of 124 receiving yards and a touchdown on six receptions and seven targets.
With Kraft taking over downfield, the Packers were able to keep their passing game very much alive even after losing Jayden Reed to an injury he suffered in the first quarter.
Kraft’s total receiving yards output was also his most ever in a game since entering the NFL in 2023, when he was taken 78th overall in the third round of that year’s NFL draft. That was also just the first time in his pro career that he had at least 100 receiving yards in a game.

After the game, Kraft was asked for his thoughts on his career performance against Washington, but he seemed more interested in what’s ahead than in the havoc he just wreaked on the field.
“We’ve got practice on Monday,” Kraft told reporters in the locker room, while saying that even in college, he never had a 1oo-yard performance in a game, per Ryan Wood of USA Today.
Indeed, it’s onto the next one for Kraft and the rest of Green Bay, who are now 2-0 through their first two assignments in the 2025 season.
Kraft will look to sustain his form and be productive again in Week 3, when Green Bay faces off against the Cleveland Browns.
