Chelsea will be back in action on Saturday against Brentford following the international break, and Alejandro Garnacho will hope his personal record against the Bees can continue.
Garnacho signed from Manchester United for £40million late in the transfer window, providing Enzo Maresca with even more options out wide.
The Argentine was in the stands at Stamford Bridge for Chelsea’s last game against Fulham, but he will now be available for the Blues to make his debut this weekend, potentially.
Chelsea will aim to continue their unbeaten start to the new Premier League campaign to maintain pressure on Liverpool at the top of the table, as the focus returns to club football.

Alejandro Garnacho has thrived against Brentford previously
Whether Garnacho is given the nod to play from the first whistle by Maresca will remain to be seen, but there will be an expectation among fans that Chelsea’s new number 49 will feature at some point.
While Joao Pedro’s personal record against Brentford is poor, Garnacho’s is far more impressive. He enjoyed playing against the Bees while at Man United, which is a positive sign ahead of his potential debut.

Garnacho has scored two goals in his four appearances against Brentford throughout his career, both of which came in his previous two games against them.
The 21-year-old scored and assisted in a seven-goal thriller last season, in which Man United lost 4-3, a result that Chelsea will not want to replicate.

Alejandro Garnacho will be fresh for Chelsea this weekend
Garnacho may not be up to speed with the Premier League this weekend because he has not played a competitive game this season, but he will benefit from freshness.
Unlike many of his teammates and opponents, Garnacho did not play during the international break, meaning he had the time to bed in and get used to his new surroundings at Cobham.
That should benefit him heading into this weekend, as Garnacho will be aware of Maresca’s tactics after working closely with him while other players were not.
Chelsea will be without Liam Delap against Brentford due to his hamstring injury, and it’s unclear whether Cole Palmer is fit enough to feature, which could open up opportunities for Garnacho to make an impact.
