Alex Valle enjoyed a fairly successful loan spell at Celtic.
The Spanish left-back joined Celtic from Barcelona at the start of last season and Valle made 19 appearances for the Parkhead club.
Valle was then recalled from his loan spell at Celtic by Barcelona and immediately sent to Como for another temporary spell.
Now at the Serie A side permanently, Valle is enjoying his football after his Celtic exit and has opened up on what it was like facing Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal this summer.

Alex Valle opens up on facing Lamine Yamal after Celtic exit
Valle is now facing some of the best players in the world in the Serie A but in August, the former Celtic defender was charged with shackling Yamal in a pre-season friendly.
And the ex-Hoops full-back admits that there was nothing he could do against the Barcelona superstar.
Valle told Sport, “Lamine is an incredible player. I tried to sacrifice myself and stay focused the entire match.
“But against those types of players, if he has a good day, with so much individual talent, it depends more on him than on you.”

Ex-Celtic defender Alex Valle opens up on ‘difficult’ loan season
Valle enjoyed a 19-game loan spell at Celtic last season and picked up a League Cup winner’s medal and a league title.
However, it appears that not knowing his long-term future took its toll on the former Celtic left-back.
Valle continued, “It’s been a difficult period with all this loan season, but I always tried to find my space and feel comfortable, and now I’m happier than ever.
“He’s [Cesc Fabregas] very demanding and has a very clear idea of what he wants: to implement his winning mentality.”
With the winning mentality Valle experienced and learned at Celtic, the Spanish defender should have no problem adapting to his new manager’s demands.
