Leeds United-linked winger Jota Silva is reportedly closing in on a move away from Nottingham Forest.
In the final days of the summer window, Leeds were linked with a raft of attacking players as they made a late effort to strengthen in the final third.

Jota Silva nears move
He now appears set for a move to Turkey, with reporter Fabrizio Romano suggesting the 26-year-old is nearing a switch to Besiktas.
Posting on X, he said: “Besiktas are closing in on deal to sign Jota Silva from Nottingham Forest. New winger on the way for Besiktas, deal almost agreed on loan with buy option clause that might turn into obligation. Green light imminent from NFFC, then… here we go.”
Forest signed the winger from Vitória de Guimarães last summer and he has since made 38 appearances for the Premier League club. His last outing came on the opening day of the current campaign, when Forest defeated Brentford.

Leeds United’s summer pursuits
Leeds chased Fulham winger Harry Wilson on deadline day having seen a deal to borrow Facundo Buonanotte from Brighton & Hove Albion fell through. However, they also missed out on Wilson as the Cottagers decided against sanctioning a move.
On August 26, regarding Leeds’ supposed interest in Silva, former scout Mick Brown said: “I hear Leeds are interested in signing Jota Silva. They need new wingers, and he is one of the names on their list of targets.
“When he’s been involved for Forest, he looks busy and bright, always looking to make things happen and not afraid to get on the ball.
“He likes to get at people and he’s capable of producing in the final third as well. He’s a bit of a maverick, and those types of players are always welcome at Leeds.”
