Amorim will speak to the media today.
Ruben Amorim will take questions at his pre-match press conference this afternoon.
Manchester United are set to return from the international break against Manchester City at the Etihad.
United pulled off a dramatic 2-1 comeback victory at the Etihad thanks to Amad's heroics last December, and Amorim will be hoping for a similar result when his side visit the Etihad on Sunday.
The pressure has increased on Amorim following a disappointing start to the new campaign, but the 40-year-old oversaw an important 3-2 win against Burnley before the break.
Matheus Cunha and Mason Mount were forced off with injuries against Burnley and Diogo Dalot withdrew from international duty with Portugal due to a small muscle injury.
Amorim will provide an update on the team news and look ahead to the Manchester derby.

How the Glazers were involved in Antony's exit
The Glazer family approved Antony's departure from Manchester United on deadline day.
Antony enjoyed a successful loan at Real Betis in the second half of last season and he held out for a permanent move to Seville throughout the summer transfer window, but negotiations went down to the wire.
The winger travelled to Spain on a private jet alongside his agent, Junior Pedroso, to complete a move to Betis with hours of the transfer window remaining. United received a fixed fee of €22million (£19m), with a potential €3m (£2.6m) in add-ons, and included a 50 per cent sell-on clause in the deal.
Speaking to ABC Sevilla, Real Betis' CEO provided an insight into the negotiations. Ramon Alarcon admitted it was a difficult transfer to get over the line and revealed Betis were forced to wait for the Glazer family to sign off the deal.

United announce Onana loan departure to Turkey
Andre Onana has completed his loan move from United to Trabzonspor.
The goalkeeper has moved to Turkey for the rest of the campaign having fallen down the pecking order at Old Trafford. Trabzonspor will cover Onana's entire wages during the stint.
United added Belgian stopper Senne Lammens to their squad on deadline day, while Altay Bayindir has started all three Premier League games so far this season.
Onana's only involvement has come in the Carabao Cup. He played the full game in the shock defeat to League Two side Grimsby Town and was at fault for at least one of the Mariners' goals as United lost on penalties following a 2-2 draw.

United players relieved to have avoided squad 'problem'
United players are relieved to have avoided the “nonsense” of a four-man goalkeeping department following the departure of Andre Onana on a season-long loan.
Onana, 29, completed his temporary switch to Turkish club Trabzonspor on Thursday - a day before the Turkish transfer window closed - and Trabzonspor will cover Onana’s wages in full.
The MEN can reveal United players felt it would have been a “problem” if Onana had not secured a move following the deadline day signing of ‘keeper Senne Lammens from Royal Antwerp.
As of the final days of August, Onana was adamant he would stay at United. However, his error-strewn performance in the humiliating League Cup second round elimination by fourth tier Grimsby Town preceded his demotion for the Premier League win against Burnley three days later. Sources say Onana effectively felt forced out following the arrival of the 23-year-old Lammens.
United had not considered a new goalie to be a priority in the window but head coach Ruben Amorim’s view of Onana evolved to the extent that he picked Altay Bayindir over the Cameroonian in the opening league fixtures against Arsenal and Fulham.
