Stuart Dallas has been made a Leeds United club ambassador.
The ultra-versatile Northern Ireland international was one of the key figures of Marcelo Bielsa's time at Elland Road before breaking his leg in April 2022, an injury that ultimately forced him to retire from the game.
But Dallas in now back at the club in a role that will see him regularly attend matches, community visits and club events. He will also mentor young players in the club's academy.
Dallas joined the club from Brentford in 2015, and would go on to make 266 appearances in all competitions as a winger or full-back on either side, and in central midfield. He scored 28 goals.
Like a number of players, Dallas' game was taken to new levels by the arrival of Bielsa as coach in 2018, and he was an ever-present in the club's first season back in the Premier League after 16 years away. He was on course to do so again the following season until his injury against Manchester City at Elland Road, which he tried for two years to come back from.
Dallas made his Northern Ireland debut in 2011 and won 62 caps, including appearing at all four of their games at the 2016 European Championship – the only time they have appeared at the tournament.
