Mikel Arteta faces the media ahead of the fourth [Premier League match](https://www.football.london/arsenal-fc/fixtures-results/) of the new season. Arsenal host Nottingham Forest at the Emirates Stadium.
The international break has been very positive for the Gunners, as their players appear to have both come through unscathed and performed exceedingly well. Mikel Merino scored four goals across his two games, Noni Madueke scored his first goal for England, and Piero Hincapie earned two clean sheets and a victory over Argentina.
Injuries remain an issue, however, and both William Saliba and Bukayo Saka were not spotted in the training session viewed by the media on Thursday. The good news is both Christian Norgaard and Ben White did return.
The manager is expected to provide an update on the status of the four players and any other who might be a concern. You can hear everything Arteta has to say on all that and much more from **football.london's** lead Arsenal writer, **Tom Canton** , in our live blog below.
