Hurzeler stated in the pre-match conference today, ahead of the Seagulls away clash with Bournemouth, that there is no current “new schedule” for when Solly will become available.
Fabian said: “I think [March] is not that close that we can say he will be back in two or three weeks.”
“He’s working quite hard in rehab, step by step, but he’s still not on the pitch” Hurzeler added.
Solly March was side-lined in May due to a knee injury following his first start in 18 months during the Albion's 3-2 victory against West Ham.
Brighton’s homegrown star is hoping to have an impact on the Seagulls campaign this year as he enters his 13th season with the club.
“We see some good progress” Fabian added. “We are very convinced that we will see him back this year but I can’t give him a new schedule when it will be.”
March is no stranger to injuries, with his current complications with his knee likely being a result of a cruciate ligament injury that he suffered in October 2023.
Fabian specified that he has almost a full squad available for Brighton’s Premier League battle against Bournemouth tomorrow at the Vitality Stadium - with the only exception alongside Solly March being Adam Webster.
