Premier League Score Predictions for Matchday 4 of the 2025/26 season

The September international break is over, and the Premier League is back. Here are score predictions for every fixture of Matchday 4 of the 2025/26 season, which will feature the Manchester Derby, a London Derby between Tottenham and West Ham, and another marquee matchup between Arsenal and Nottingham Forest to start it all off.

Arsenal vs. Nottingham Forest

Arsenal have such a stingy defense, but so do Nottingham Forest. This one is going to be another ugly 1-0 special, but look for Viktor Gyokees to silence some critics with a clutch goal, figuratively and literally rising above the others in the dying minutes of the match.

Newcastle vs. Wolves

Newcastle will find life without Alexander Isak very rough, and the Magpies are still in search of their first win of the season. They will get it here with a 1-0 win of their own against a truly abhorrent Wolves side that has easily been the worst in the Premier League to start the 2025/26 campaign.

Crystal Palace vs. Sunderland

Crystal Palace and Sunderland will fight out a tough 1-1 draw, as both teams have strong defenses, especially Palace with the intact duo of Maxence Lacroix and Marc Guehi, who have been two of the league’s best overall players through three matchdays. They will hold up strong against a surprise Sunderland side.

Everton vs. Aston Villa

Everton have been beyond brilliant to start the 2025/26 campaign, and Jack Grealish isn’t the only reason for that, too. The Toffees have received splendid performances from Grealish’s winger partner, Iliman Ndiaye, and another notable Premier League signing in Kieran Dewsbury-Hall. This trio will fuel a thrilling 4-3 victory over a sliding Aston Villa side.

Fulham vs. Leeds

Neither Leeds nor Fulham have been anything to write home about so far in the 2025/26 season, and they will live up to that billing with a 0-0 draw that won’t be worth anyone’s time watching.

Bournemouth vs. Brighton

Quite the opposite will happen with Bournemouth and Brighton, who could very well steal the show and have the best game of Matchday 4. Bournemouth proved they can play up with anyone on Matchday 1 by pushing Liverpool to their limit, and then they went ahead and tore Tottenham to shreds.

Meanwhile, Brighton took down Manchester City and have one of the best young squads in all of European football. These are two sleeper top-five candidates, and they will bring the fireworks and share the spoils in a 3-3 draw.

West Ham vs. Tottenham

It’s going to be a long season for West Ham, and after stealing away Mohammed Kudus, Spurs will use the underrated Ghanaian as Thomas Frank imposes his superiority as a coach on Graham Potter in a 6-1 win that will be ugly for the Hammers from start to finish.

Brentford vs. Chelsea

Brentford have been a lost cause without Thomas Frank, Bryan Mbeumo, and Yoane Wissa. They stand no chance against Chelsea, who look like true Premier League title contenders. Chalk this one up as a 4-0 win for the Blues.

Burnley vs. Liverpool

Likewise, the star-studded Liverpool side will destroy Burnley in their own house 5-0, with the entire front line running rampant as Mohamed Salah bags another Premier League hat trick to remind everyone that even with all the new signings, he’ll still get his. Salah is the league’s best player, no question about that.

Manchester City vs. Manchester United

Manchester United showed signs of life against Burnley, and while, yes, it was Burnley, it was still a win for the Red Devils. Manchester City have been disappointing, too, and so United will be the ones to surprise, with an Mbeumo brace fueling a 2-2 draw that will raise more questions about Pep Guardiola and City’s top five contention.
