”“I don’t think it’s too much to ask,” said Bourne, a wide receiver who enters his ninth NFL season. “But it’s all up to me. It falls on me. So if I go out there and I don’t know what I’m doing, it’s because I didn’t study enough. I’ve been just attacking it this week and I’m excited to see what happens.
“I don’t know what’s going to happen, but I’m excited to see what’s going to happen.”

”I like Mac a lot,” Bosa said. “Great dude. I think he’s really popped up on tape throughout camp. If Mac does start, I think it’s a little more advantageous for him being early in the year since he’s gotten some real reps recently, and he’s not like 10 weeks into the season, taking only scout team and getting pinballed around by the D-line and scout team. I think that’s a bright side.”
Bourne has leaned on Jones to help him reacclimate. They haven’t hesitated to study together and compare notes, just like old times, but minus the baggage that spelled the end of their time in New England.
“He definitely took that adversity on the chin, and just to see him here and the joy he has, I’m excited about it,” Bourne said of Jones.
