Norgaard's injury has been the well-kept secret recently. I felt he would be out for a longer period. I'm glad he is back

Norgaard has yet to make his Arsenal debut

The 31-year-old did play a prominent role in pre-season following his £10m move from Brentford, but he has not featured since the friendly against Villarreal last month.

Norgaard has sat out the first three Premier League fixtures against Manchester United, Leeds and Liverpool with an unspecified fitness issue.

However, it does look like he could get his first minutes off the bench against Forest this weekend.

White may have to be patient to get his place back

While the 27-year-old did start the first league game against United, the main reason for that was due to Jurrien Timber’s lack of fitness.

The Dutchman was recovering from ankle surgery, and it meant he didn’t play many friendlies in pre-season.

However, since White has been sidelined, Timber has started matches and performed well. He won’t be giving up his position on the right-hand side of defence anytime soon.
