Germany’s guard Dennis Schroder set a new EuroBasket semi-final record with 12 assists, the most ever in a semi-final.
Germany already awaits its opponent in the EuroBasket final, remaining undefeated after a second win in the tournament, a 98-86 victory over Finland.
Sacramento Kings guard Dennis Schroder was the standout for Germany, recording a huge double-double.
Schroder finished the game with 26 points and 12 assists, also breaking a EuroBasket record.
He set the record for the most assists in a EuroBasket semi-final, surpassing the previous mark of 9 assists held by Sergio Rodriguez and Mantas Kalnietis.
The final will be played on Sunday. Germany’s opponent will be the winner of the second semi-final between Turkiye and Greece, which takes place later tonight at 8 p.m. CET / 2 p.m. ET.
