Everton have been hit with a huge injury blow with Iliman Ndiaye a doubt ahead of Saturday’s game against Aston Villa.
David Moyes will be hoping to make it three wins on the trot for the Blues when Unai Emery’s side arrive at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
It has been a strong start to the 2025/26 campaign for Everton, with a top four spot a possibility by the end of the weekend.
Ahead of the game at the weekend, Everton are left sweating on Vitaliy Mykolenko’s fitness following his recent injury worries.
However, there have been some further concerns shared by Moyes during his press conference on Friday at Finch Farm.
Ndiaye has now returned from international duty with Senegal, and there is a major injury worry ahead of Villa’s visit to Merseyside.

Following the break, Ndiaye was frustrated with his Senegal performances despite racking up two victories.
His frustrations could be growing back at Finch Farm following Moyes’ latest admission.

Speaking to the media on Friday, Moyes admitted that Ndiaye is a doubt for the game against Villa on Saturday.
“We’ve got a concern about Ili Ndiaye – he’s got a knock, so we’ll need to see,” Moyes said.
“We’re not sure how he’ll be for tomorrow.”
Tyler Dibling has admitted he’s excited about playing with Ndiaye at Everton, but Saturday could see the youngster replace the Senegal international in the starting XI.
Tyler Dibling could replace Ndiaye to make Everton debut
Everton spent big money on the 19-year-old Dibling towards the end of the summer market, following weeks of talks with Southampton.
Dibling showed his quality for England U21s over the last week, having provided an assist from a corner for Jobe Bellingham.
There may well have to be some patience provided with the winger, but Everton have spent around £40m on Dibling, which should suggest he is viewed as a key player for Moyes.
The 62-year-old has not had a lot of time to work with Dibling, but Ndiaye’s injury could be the perfect opportunity for the youngster to make his full debut.
Ironically, Aston Villa also tried to sign Dibling earlier in the window.
Perhaps the 19-year-old could come back to haunt Emery and the travelling Villa side on Saturday.
