Fulham handed huge boost for Leeds United game as star trio confirmed as available

Leeds United return from the international break and will be hoping to continue their positive start to the season. The Whites have picked up four points from three games so far.

Fans were disappointed when the club ended transfer deadline day without adding another signing. Daniel Farke asked for attacking reinforcements late in the window, but Leeds failed to bring in anyone. There were positives from the start of the season after beating Everton on the opening day, and holding Newcastle to a draw.

Fulham will be in search of their first three points this season at home, and the Londoners will be buoyed by the latest team news. Marco Silva has confirmed that his trio of new signings will be available for Saturday. Kevin, Jonas Kusi-Asare and Samu Chukwueze are all expected to feature against Leeds United:

“We believe the profiles of Chukwueze and Kevin will add to what we’ve been looking for in those areas of the pitch,” said Silva. “With Adama, Harry Wilson and Alex Iwobi, they’re going to be our solutions for the wide areas of the pitch.

“Kevin has settled in well. He’s working hard to understand everything we need from him. He’s very young, 22-years-old, but he has the experience of playing Champions League and European games. The first time I saw Chukwueze and Jonah [Kusi-Asare] was yesterday, but Kevin is slightly different because he’s been with us for the last 10 days.

“Him and Chukwueze are going to help us.”

Leeds injury report

The Whites have injury concerns of their own heading into this weekend. The big news is that first choice keeper Lucas Perri has been ruled out for the next two games as Karl Darlow is set to start in goal. Joel Piroe is also a doubt, but the good news is that Ao Tanaka and Ethan Ampadu will make the matchday squad according to Daniel Farke.
