Manchester United confirmed the exit of Andre Onana after the goalkeeper fell down the pecking order under Ruben Amorim.
United in Focus exclusively revealed last week that Andre Onana agreed to join Trabzonspor on loan and the deal has now been confirmed following the completion of his international duty with Cameroon.
Onana will be considered as a flop at United, and even though he has joined the Turkish side on a straight loan, it seems as though his career at Old Trafford is over.
Despite his disappointing performances, Onana felt he was a ‘scapegoat’ at United, and he is now looking to get his career back on track at Trabzonspor.

Andre Onana asked about Trabzonspor move
During his time at United, Onana was often very helpful when it came to helping new signings settle.
Onana helped United recruit Bryan Mbeumo over the summer by convincing his Cameroonian teammate to make the move to Manchester.
Now, before his move to Turkey, Onana reached out to ask a player about his new city and club.

As per 61Saat, Onana reveals he spoke to Marc Bartra about the move: “I spoke with Bartra, who had played here before, and he had some very positive things to say about the city.
“From the plane, everything looked great. I don’t know much about the city yet, but I’m looking forward to exploring it.
“I’m very excited to be here. When I step onto the pitch, I like to play every match as if it were the last in the world, and I’ll do the same here. By giving it our all, we’ll be even stronger.”
Man United were linked with Marc Bartra deal in 2016
Bartra played alongside Onana during their time together in the Barcelona academy, and Bartra spent the 2022/23 season playing for Trabzonspor.
The Spanish centre-back also spent time at Borussia Dortmund and Real Betis, and he nearly ended up playing for United if rumours are to be believed.

As per Sky Sports, back in 2016, United were linked with a move for Bartra following his impressive rise at Barcelona.
However, Bartra ended up making an €8 million move to Dortmund that summer with Jose Mourinho instead making a move to sign Eric Bailly from Villarreal.
