However much West Ham fans would like to see the side that ended the Forest game named as the starting XI tomorrow, two of the substitutes that were introduced late on with such a dramatic impact on the game are unlikely to start against [Spurs.](https://www.claretandhugh.info/west-ham-v-tottenham-lineup-announced/)
Both have their own fitness issues.
**Callum Wilson** probably doesn’t have 90 minutes in him and the reports are the that Niclas Fullkrug might have recovered from the calf twinge: And **Crysencio Summerville** is still on his slow trajectory back from an 8 month layoff – so maybe an appearance earlier in the second half might be more prudent to ease the youngster’s hamstrings back in slowly.
There must be a temptation to rush him back to a full 90 minutes for Potter, having seen his impact on a game two weeks ago that was locked in a 0-0 stalemate. Just occasionally, a little caution is no bad thing. West Ham will want Summerville back for good so if he’s re-introduced gradually, providing he makes the same impact, I don’t think too many Hammers fans will complain.
For fans tired of watching a season of Kudus’ head down running up blind alleys with no result at the end of his monumental mazy ‘incomplete’ dribbles, Summerville’s introduction was in deed a breath of fresh air.
The Dutch flyer has the hugely exciting capacity to be an upgrade on the ‘second season’ variant of Mohammed Kudus: Summerville’s direct running- with a result at the end of it -was indeed, as the player himself claimed, _‘electric’._
“_I see every game as a final_” Summerville told [whufc.com](https://www.whufc.com/news/summerville-im-just-happy-be-back-playing-football), whilst labelling himself a big game player. Tomorrow’s derby gives the Hammers’ winger the chance to step up and deliver, having watched Kudus occupy that inside left position for the whole of last season. As Summerville puts it:
_“I can guarantee you it’s going to be a great season for me with loads of goals and assists. Everyone knows I’m a big game player, so I love to play against all the big teams, and I think everyone is looking forward to the Tottenham Hotspur game. We are sharp, we are ready, and we can’t wait.”_
And if Summerville can outshine the Ghanaian come 5.30 tomorrow, sixty thousand Hammers fans will be especially grateful.
