The Pittsburgh Steelers pulled off a hard-fought 34-32 win over the New York Jets in Week 1. Heading into the 2025 NFL season, it was clear that the team was going all-in on pursuing a championship.
During the offseason, the Steelers made some aggressive win-now moves. They signed Aaron Rodgers to a one-year deal in NFL free agency and pulled off trades for star wide receiver DK Metcalf, star cornerback Jalen Ramsey, and tight end Jonnu Smith.
Outside of those moves, Pittsburgh also worked out new deals with superstar pass rusher T.J. Watt and star defensive tackle Cameron Heyward.

Over the last week, rumors have started ramping up about the Steelers potentially being a trade suitor for Miami Dolphins superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill.
Despite the rumors swirling around regarding Pittsburgh and Hill, one NFL insider spoke out with a new take on that scenario.
Tom Pelissero made an appearance on the "Rich Eisen Show" and threw cold water on the Hill to the Steelers rumors.
"I don't see a team like the Steelers bringing in Tyreek Hill, period, to be quite frank," Pelissero said. "Never say never, but if any team is going to have inside information on where things went sideways with Tyreek last year, it would be from a team that traded for multiple other Dolphins veterans within the past couple of months. It just seems like it would be a difficult fit there."
Hill has been mentioned in quite a few trade rumors throughout the offseason and already to start the 2025 campaign. Things have not gone well for him with the Dolphins over the last year.
In Week 1, Hill caught four passes for 40 yards. Miami ended up being blown out by the Indianapolis Colts by a final score of 33-8.
Should the Dolphins choose to place Hill on the trade block, quite a few teams would have interest in him. It would not be shocking to see Pittsburgh be one of those teams. The Steelers have been rumored to be looking for another wideout to bring in to give Rodgers another weapon.
While Pelissero doesn't see Pittsburgh making a move for Hill, the Steelers cannot be counted out. Depending on the price tag, they would likely at least look into the idea.
Expect to continue hearing more rumors and speculation about Hill's future in Miami in the coming days and weeks ahead of the trade deadline.
