ZAIN Silcott-Duberry’s move to Olympiacos presented a good opportunity for him and both clubs, Andoni Iraola said.

The 20-year-old joined the Greek club last week, leaving the [Cherries](http://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/cherries/clubnews/) just eight months after he joined in January from Chelsea.

That prompted some questions over why he departed on a permanent move and not on loan, and when asked the thoughts behind the deal, Iraola said: “I think Zain came for the second team.

“It is true that especially in that moment where we basically didn't have players, he was basically with us every day and he came a lot of times to the bench.

“But probably it has appeared a very good opportunity for him personally. Also the club has some rights on him if he performs very well, you can make money also.

“So I suppose it has been a good agreement from for both sides.

“I also know Olympiacos manager José Luis Mendilibar very well. For sure, he's going to be very good for him in his development, he will be hard on him.

“I wish him all the best also.”
