Tyrese Haliburton reacts to Micah Parsons, Packers’ Week 2 win with undeniable support

The Green Bay Packers are off to an incredible startto their campaign in the 2025 NFL regular season. Following their 27-13 victory over the Detroit Lions at Lambeau Field in Week 1, Micah Parsons and company throttled the Washington Commanders in a 27-18 Thursday Night Football win, also at home, to kick things off in Week 2.

Green Bay is also still undefeated since successfully pulling off the surprising trade that landed the team four-time Pro Bowl pass rusher Micah Parsons.

It’s an exciting time to be a Packers fan, not just because of Parsons, but because the team, as a whole, is performing at a high level. Jordan Love and Green Bay’s attack have scored 27 points in both games thus far, while opponents have only mustered a total of 31 points against the Parsons-led stout stop unit.

Parsons has been a gift that keeps on giving gifts for Green Bay despite having just begun his stint with the team. Against the Commanders, hehad eight pressures, the most among Packers players in that contest. That says a lot about how effective he is on defense, especially since he’s yet to return to his 100 percent form due to a back issue.

After dismantling the Commanders, Parsons took to social media to celebrate the win.

Several popular figures reacted and commented on his post, including Indiana Pacers star point guard Tyrese Haliburton. The former Iowa State Cyclones star has a clear connection with Wisconsin sports, as he is from the state.

“GPG🧀🧀,” said Haliburton, who is still recuperating from an Achilles injury he suffered in Game 7 of the 2025 NBA Finals against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Green Bay now looks forward to a long break before getting back on the field for a Week 3 matchup on the road against the Cleveland Browns.
