Newcastle United welcome Wolverhampton Wanderers to St James' Park on Saturday afternoon looking for their first win of the 2025/26 season.
The Magpies have put in an impressive performance in each of their first three games of the campaign but have lacked a cutting edge up front.
United have played without a recognised central forward while Alexander Isak tried to force a move to Liverpool.
Isak finally got that move on deadline day and Newcastle have brought in forwards Nick Woltemade, for a club record £65million fee, and Yoane Wissa for £55million from Brentford who should bolster their firepower up front.
Newcastle now have two quality players for each position and competition for places is as strong as it has ever been under Eddie Howe.
That makes team selection decisions tougher, though, and with Wolves the first of seven games across the next three weeks, Howe must manage his squad carefully as Newcastle continue to challenge on all four fronts.
With that in mind, our Newcastle reporters have picked the Magpies team they would like to see Howe field this afternoon.

Having been hit with a hammer blow this week, after Yoane Wissa was ruled out with a knee injury, Newcastle's options in attack have been compounded.
There's no chance of Wissa and Nick Woltemade starting together so with Anthony Gordon suspended, Howe's decision is made for him as the German international is primed to start against Wolves.
Jacob Ramsey's month long lay off after a ankle injury also means that Joelinton walks straight back into contention.
Otherwise, Howe's selection seems straight-forward but I expect some rotation against Barcelona and Bournemouth.

Eddie Howe's biggest team selection decision has been made for him after Yoane Wissa's injury on international duty with DR Congo.
It will be a major surprise if club record signing Nick Woltemade doesn't lead the line at St James' Park with Newcastle expected to return to the tried and tested 4-3-3 formation that was abandoned in last month's 0-0 draw with Leeds United.
Anthony Elanga and Harvey Barnes should come back in on the wings with Jacob Murphy dropping out of the team and Anthony Gordon suspended.
Joelinton's return is timely given Jacob Ramsey is out injured until after the October international break while Bruno Guimaraes should start in the midfield despite playing in tough conditions in Bolivia in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
The goalkeeper and back four pick themselves after two clean sheets in as many away games this season.
