Rio Ferdinand even caught United We Stand editor Andy Mitten by complete surprise after his admission about a “loveable” and “funny” former Manchester United star.
The 46-year-old former TNT Sports pundit is widely regarded as one of the best Premier League defenders of all time after his prolific club playing career.
Rio Ferdinand spent the majority of his Manchester United playing career under Sir Alex Ferguson after he arrived at Old Trafford from Leeds United in 2002.
The ex-Red Devils star played 455 times for the Red Devils and Ferdinand hoovered up the major silverware under former United manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
Ferdinand, who retired in 2015 after a brief spell with Queens Park Rangers, lifted six Premier Leagues, a Champions League and two League Cups with United.

The Manchester United legend was specifically asked about ex-Red Devils teammate Anderson, who was brought to Old Trafford under Sir Alex Ferguson in 2007.
Anderson had played for Porto before he arrived at the Premier League club in the same summer window as United cult hero Nani, who was signed from Sporting CP.
Ferdinand was asked to name something United fans didn’t know about Anderson and he insisted that the 37-year-old Brazilian would once breed his own cows.
Speaking on Anderson, he told United We Stand: “Funny, lunatic. Great heart. Great guy. Loveable. Rogue.
“He used to breed cows and eat them. That’s why he couldn’t move sometimes.”

Rio Ferdinand recalls his experience with two former Man Utd teammates amid his desire to visit Anderson in Brazil
Anderson was a fan favourite at United and the former Red Devils midfielder lifted four Premier League titles, a Champions League and a League Cup at the club.
The former Porto man’s run at Old Trafford came to an end in 2015, with Anderson returning to his native homeland with Internacional on a free transfer.
Ferdinand admitted that he hopes to see Anderson in Brazil, only to reveal his experience in the country when he visited Rafael da Silva and Fabio da Silva.
“I’m going to go to [see him in Brazil],” he continued.
“I actually went to see the [Silva] twins once in the World Cup. I went to their house.
“They lived in like the rainforest, which was like amazing. It was amazing.”
United fan-favourite Anderson would later play for Brazilian side Coritiba on loan and signed for Turkish side Adana Demirspor in the dying stages of his playing career.
