The Philadelphia Eagles are coming off a hard-fought 24-20 win over the Dallas Cowboys, but have a rematch of the Super Bowl coming up against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.
It's particularly important for a certain group of players who are needing bounce-back games after rough 2025 debuts. Who are the top Eagles players that need to get things back on track in Week 2?
Jalen Carter, DT
This feels like an obvious choice, but Carter should be the highest on the list after not even playing a snap before spitting on Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott and being ejected from the game. Carter was lucky just to get fined for the incident, as he has a lot of work to do to get back in the good graces of the general public and his team.
Saquon Barkley, RB
It might be a bit of a surprise to see the defending Offensive Player of the Year winner on this list, but for Barkley's standards, Week 1 is not an excellent game for him. Barkley finished with 60 yards and a touchdown, but averaged only 3.3 yards per carry. Eagles fans might have come to the realization that another 2,000-yard season for Barkley may not be likely, but they are looking for an improvement from his less-than-four yards per carry.
Adoree' Jackson, CB
Jackson allowed five receptions for over 100 yards, and all five catches went for a first down. It's safe to say it was not a good debut for the nine-year veteran. He might have one more chance to prove that he is worthy of the CB2 job before the Eagles move quickly to add in some help after bringing in Mike Hilton in for a workout.

A.J. Brown, WR
It took until under two minutes in the fourth quarter for Brown to have his first target and reception that went for eight yards. That would be it for Brown. With trade rumors swarming the media once again, Brown needs to have a big game and could with Dallas Goedert out for the game against the Chiefs.
