FC Barcelona take on Valencia tomorrow in their first home game of the 2025/26 season at Estadi Johan Cruyff.
The Blaugrana, having dropped points against Rayo Vallecano before the international break, will be hoping to bounce back to winning ways on Sunday.
Ahead of the game, though, Barça were dealt a concerning blow as Lamine Yamal was absent from training due to physical problems.
Frenkie de Jong trains with team
However, there was some good news from the training session for Barcelona today as SPORT confirms that Frenkie de Jong worked with the rest of the squad normally.
The 28-year-old midfielder returned early from the Netherlands camp during the international break due to discomfort in his glutes.

While the issue was not a serious one, it was expected that the midfielder would be unavailable for the game against Valencia, more so after he did not train on Friday.
However, De Jong did work with the entire squad in group training on the eve of the Valencia clash.
So, there may be a possibility that the Dutchman will be cleared to face Los Che at Estadi Johan Cruyff tomorrow.
Meanwhile, Marc Bernal continued to work with the group normally and is expected to get his medical clearance for the game tomorrow. Gavi and Marc-Andre ter Stegen remain unavailable through injury.
