Packers had wildest social media post after their win over Commanders

The Green Bay Packers defeated the Washington Commanders, 27-18, at Lambeau Field on Thursday Night Football, and did so wearing their “Winter Warning” uniforms.

The all-white attire debuted in 2024. The Packers wore the uniforms in games against the Houston Texans and Seattle Seahawks, and were victorious in each.

Thursday night’s win gave Green Bay a three-game streak, which they celebrated with a wild social media post.

The phrasing, “exciting whites,” elicited quite the reaction from fans and X users. Most of it was humorous and sarcastic in nature, but some took offense, suggesting there were racial undertones.

Philadelphia Eagles fans also chimed in, claiming the Packers stole it from Cooper DeJean and Reed Blankenship, who are called the “Exciting Whites” and intend to create a podcast under the same name.

“(You’re) getting sued,” one Eagles fan wrote on X.

It clearly wasn’t Green Bay’s intention to rip off DeJean and Blankenship, but rather, to celebrate their “Winter Warning” victory and the game of tight end Tucker Kraft, who hauled in six receptions for 124 yards and one touchdown.

Even beyond that, the social media post was sponsored by Invisalign, a teeth straightening and whitening company.
