Hansi Flick confirms Barcelona winger will miss the upcoming clash against Valencia

Things are getting complicated for FC Barcelona, especially with their injury concerns. The likes of Gavi, Alejandro Balde, and Frenkie de Jong are already out injured, but another name is now set to join them on the sidelines as well for now.

Ahead of the upcoming game against Valencia, a rather notable player was absent during the latest training session. The player in question was 18-year-old Barça star Lamine Yamal, and his situation has now been cleared up by Hansi Flick.

As officially confirmed, the Barcelona coach made it clear that the player would miss the upcoming game against Valencia and is still dealing with some pain:

“Lamine Yamal will not be available against Valencia. He joined the National Team with pain and did not train.”

However, Hansi Flick will now need to figure out alternative options to sort out his team for the next game. With Yamal sidelined, the likes of Raphinha and Marcus Rashford could end up starting as the team’s wingers. Moreover, there is also the option of Roony Bardghji making his debut for the team if needed.
