Arsenal have suffered a major Premier League blow on Saturday lunchtime.
Gunners skipper Martin Odegaard had to leave the pitch during a match against Nottingham Forest due to what seemed to be a repeat of his shoulder injury.
The 26-year-old Norwegian midfielder appeared to aggravate his shoulder when Jurrien Timber's tackle on Morgan Gibbs-White inadvertently brought him down.
Odegaard was making his first start for Arsenal since 23 August, when he initially injured his shoulder during the first half of the Gunners' 5-0 victory at home against Leeds.
The following week, the Arsenal captain managed 20 minutes at Liverpool, where their title hopes took a hit with a 1-0 loss.
Odegaard then played 45 minutes in Norway's 1-0 friendly win over Finland before playing the entire match against Moldova. The 26-year-old shone as Norway thrashed their opponents 11-1, with Odegaard scoring one goal and assisting two.
Mikel Arteta had no qualms about starting Odegaard against Forest in Saturday's early kick-off. However, the former Real Madrid prodigy only lasted 18 minutes.
One fan fumed: "We let Odegaard go and play for his country again and he’s injured the same shoulder he could’ve rested. Same as last season. Injured right before the break and still went away. We never learn!"

"Odegaard injured again is it," a second sighed. While a third shared: "Arsenal fans must be so frustrated with Odegaard!"
"Odegaard is made out of paper. I knew he’d get injured from before he even entered the duel," a fourth fumed. And another added: "Odegaard could not have fallen harder on his smashed shoulder...."
Arsenal bounced back from the blow - and they would take the lead through Martin Zubimendi just past the half hour mark.
