Ange Postecoglou suffers big setback as Nottingham Forest tenure starts at Arsenal

Nottingham Forest have been hit by another injury concern during their Premier League clash with Arsenal.

The Reds were already without full-back Ola Aina due to a hamstring problem. They then lost centre-back Murillo with 37 minutes gone against the Gunners.

Murillo had picked up a knock a few minutes earlier and had received treatment on the pitch. He initially rejoined the action but then went down again and it was decided he was unable to continue.

He was replaced by summer signing Nicolo Savona in the 37th minute. The change meant Morato moved from operating at left-back to partnering Nikola Milenkovic in the centre of the defence.

Forest fell behind in the 32nd minute at the Emirates Stadium. They had come under a lot of pressure in the opening half hour and conceded a screamer from Martin Zubimendi.

New head coach Ange Postecoglou had made just one change to the starting XI for his first match in charge. The Reds went into the game looking to bounce back from their 3-0 defeat at home to West Ham United before the international break.

Aina missed out after injuring his hamstring while on duty for Nigeria earlier in the week. He is expected to be sidelined for at least three months.
