Dallas is making Tyler Smith the highest-paid player at his position.
The Cowboys and the two-time Pro Bowl guard have agreed to terms on a four-year, $96 million contract extension that includes $81.2 million guaranteed, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Saturday.
Set to earn $24 million per year, Smith now becomes the highest-paid guard in the NFL, edging out Trey Smith, who inked a $94 million extension with the Kansas City Chiefs on July 15.
