Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott will not face any further punishment after a Week 1 incident against the Philadelphia Eagles, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Footage from the opening game of the NFL season showed Prescott spit on the ground before the first play of the contest, which attracted the attention of Eagles defensive star Jalen Carter.
Carter took Prescott's actions personally, confronting him and then spitting back at the Cowboys quarterback.
Officials saw Carter spit at him, flagged him for unsportsmanlike conduct, and then promptly ejected him from the game.
