How Solid is the Blazers’ Center Corps?

As they enter the 2025-26 NBA season the Portland Trail Blazers look as deep as most teams at the center position. Incumbent starter Donovan Clingan will be joined by oft-injured veteran Robert Williams III, rookie draftee Yang Hansen, and Duop Reath. That’s more functional big men than Portland has fielded in a while.

As part of a series of polls this week, we want to ask you for your assessment of Portland’s centers in aggregate. It works like this:

On a scale of 1-10, with 1 being “nobody at all at the position; it needs a complete rework” and 10 being “as set as you could imagine, literally stacked to the moon”, where would you rate the Blazers at the five?

Share your rating and the reasoning in the comment section. If possible, tell us what Portland needs to become more solid and/or stacked at the position. Also share whether you think they’re better or worse provisioned now than they were at this time last year.

We’re going to ask about the other four slots as the week winds along, so you might want to think ahead to power forwards and small forwards as well!
