He confirmed that Phil Foden, the derby day hero in our last Premier League win over United in March 2024, was available for the tie, and spoke about the England international’s positive attitude in training.
Guardiola also reiterated his respect for our rivals’ history in English football, before talking about some of the learnings he’s taken from recent visits to watch major competitions in golf and tennis over the break.
