The Buffalo Bills‘ epic comeback win over the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday Night Football, they face the New York Jets in Week 2.
Bills quarterback Josh Allen was named the AFC Offensive Player of the Week after finishing with 394 passing yards and two touchdowns, along with two rushing scores against the Ravens. However, Allen knows he can improve on some things before the AFC East showdown on Sunday, September 14.
“There’s a lot of things that I can do better and be better at,” he told reporters on Wednesday. “There’s a couple times where the ball was in harm’s way. Got to clean that up.
“But just making sure that each and every play that we have our plan, we have our answers, and we go out try to execute to the best of our abilities.”
Fans will keep an eye out to see if Allen’s wife, Hailee Steinfeld, is at MetLife Stadium for the Bills-Jets game. After attending one of her best friends’ weddings with her parents, Cheri and Pete Steinfeld, they made it to Highmark Stadium for the Bills’ Week 1 thriller.
A fan’s video showed her in a vintage Bills jacket embracing Allen’s mom, Lavonne Allen, in the quarterback’s suite after the game.
The Oscar-nominated actress, of course, remains busy. While acting is her main gig, she’ll next star alongside Miles Teller in a romantic sports comedy, Steinfeld wears many hats. After launching her own online store earlier this week, she shared some exciting news with fans in her most recent issue of newsletter, Beau Society.

In this week’s newsletter, Steinfeld also replied to a fan’s question asking for relationship advice. “Yeah, don’t settle!” she urged.
“Know that the right love will feel steady and safe, not confusing or conditional. When you know your own value, you stop chasing approval and start attracting someone who sees and celebrates you exactly as you are.”
After two years of dating, Steinfeld tied the knot with Allen in Santa Barbara in a gorgeous ceremony on May 31. Based on how Allen talks about his wife, it’s clear he checks all the boxes. Speaking to NFL Network in July, Allen gushed over their nuptials. “I got to marry the woman of my dreams, my best friend,” he said.
During Buffalo’s preseason matchup against the Chicago Bears, the 29-year-old gave his wife a shoutout from the sideline. “I mean, to have the support that I do at home, and to have someone that I share similar life interests with and wants in life, it’s an awesome feeling,” he told Pam Oliver. “I get to support somebody as much as she supports me. So, very happy, obviously.”
