THE [Cherries](http://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/cherries/clubnews/) head to Cardiff aiming to continue their unbeaten start in the National League Southern Premier Division against Gwalia United.

The sides are separated by just one point in the league, both having won two games so far this term.

Helen Bleazard’s side have drawn their other game, previously in the league against Exeter City, winning their other four games in all competitions.

Last time out, Bournemouth defeated Moneyfields 2-0 in the National League Cup, thanks to a Sophie Quirk brace at the Ringwood Community Hub.

Gwalia were also victorious in their National League Cup Group C opener last Sunday, beating Bristol City’s U21s 4-0.

That followed a 1-0 win over Hashtag United and an 8-1 victory over Billericay Town, after they lost their opening game of the season to Oxford United 1-0 at home.

Gwalia, previously Cardiff City LFC, were promoted into the third tier in the 2022/23 season and have ambitions to reach the Championship.

AFC Bournemouth travel to the University of Wales Sports Park on Sunday, September 14, kick off at 2pm.
