Dani Dyer is confident Strictly won’t ruin her marriage to England ace Jarrod Bowen.

The dance contest is famed for sparking affairs that ruin relationships. But she doesn’t think that will be an issue for her.

It comes as the new series of the BBC fan favourite prepares for its triumphant return to TV in just a couple of weeks. While Dani has been hard at work getting ready for the first show, it currently is unknown who she will be paired with.

Speaking on the speculation on whether her marriage will be affected, she said: “I’m a newly-married woman. We are fine. It’s just a fun show.

“Jarrod is over the moon that I’m doing the show. He’s so happy for me. He’s like, ‘Go for it and just smash it’.”

Love Island winner Dani is thrilled she is taking part in this year’s edition of BBC favourite Strictly. She added: “It feels like a dream.

"I feel so lucky to be doing it. So far it has been incredible."

It comes after the happy couple officially tied the knot in June in a lavish ceremony featuring a host of famous faces. Official snaps of the couple showed the newlyweds looking more loved up than ever on their happy day.

In one gorgeous pic, actress Dani was seen wearing her classy over-the-shoulder wedding dress as she beamed with smiles towards her darling beau. As both stars, both aged 28, said their 'I dos', the small gathering of guests erupted into cheers as the pair gazed lovingly into each other's eyes.

However, the wedding was not all happy smiles for the newlywed couple, as Dani went on to brand her new husband and his mates "d****" after a horrific faux pas. In a hilarious joke to his pals, Jarrod's best friends opted to bring his own Playstation to the wedding, setting Dani off on a huge rant.

Dani revealed that the West Ham star wanted to have some fun with his mates on his last night as a single man before he was officially hitched. However, Dani shot back: "They were all taking - him and their mates - they were all taking their PlayStation to the hotel, and they were like going to play PlayStations the night before the wedding; I was like, ‘You’re all a bunch of d****.'"
