West Ham must sack Potter after Spurs defeat

**Graham Potter needs to go now that we know things haven’t improved.**

Losing 3-0 to Tottenham Hotspur is embarrassing for any club, but when they’re your biggest rivals in the league, it’s even more so,

While there were some positives in the opening 45 minutes, there were a lot of negatives too.

Unfortunately, these pros were not enough to prove that West Ham were still on the right track following their win at Nottingham Forest .

Although many of us now feel like Potter has enough to keep us up, that’s not really good enough. He’s got the worst win percentage of any manager in the club’s history, he doesn’t seem to be someone the player can really get behind, and his side has played well once in 9 months.

Under different circumstances, keeping Potter longer wouldn’t be an awful idea, but it’s the current manager market that makes it vital. Both Nuno and Mourinho are available for free, with the former in particular not being sacked by any fault of his own really.

If the board can convince either to join the club, it would be a no brainer to replace Potter with them. It’s a rare opportunity for the owner’s policy of only appointing unemployed managers to pay off, but they must take advantage.

If we’re being honest, none of us expect Potter to be here by the end of the season, so why don’t we cut our losses now and appoint a manager both the players and fans can get behind?
