While Leeds United’s defeat to Fulham was hardly anything down to Daniel Farke, and the end result proved to be a big slice of bad luck, there are concerns starting to emanate from the Leeds support.
Four points from four games for Leeds has seen them beat Everton and draw with Newcastle, but lose both of their away games. On Saturday, Leeds came within an inch of securing a point against Fulham.
For 75 minutes, Leeds were actually the better side – but Marco Silva changed the game by bringing on club-record signing Kevin. His superb shot was expertly tipped over for a corner by keeper Karl Darlow.
But from the corner, disaster. Gabriel Gudmundsson inadvertently scored a fluke own goal in the 94th minute. Unlucky, but Leeds fans are concerned about something else, scoring just one goal in four.

Aidy White responds to Leeds fans calling for Daniel Farke sack
BBC Radio Leeds held their usual phone-in session after full-time and a few fans were blaming Farke for his approach. A pragmatic approach, aiming to remain tight and try and steal a goal on the counter.
It worked against Everton, it saw Leeds nullify Newcastle and it almost did against Fulham. Leeds hit the bar through Sean Longstaff. But fans are worried about a lack of creativity and the negative approach.

With Nuno Espirito Santo and Jose Mourinho both available after the Portuguese duo left their roles at Nottingham Forest and Fenerbahce, former Leeds defender White told BBC RL he would keep Farke.
“You’ve got to give him it. I don’t think you can sack him now. I understand your comment [fan’s opinion] on Nuno and Jose. They are maybe available. But I wouldn’t necessarily say it’s a bad start to the season.”

Patience is needed as Leeds United attackers gather fitness
The issue with signing players who have a bit of an injury record to reduce transfer fees means Leeds now have an attack that needs time and match fitness. Dominic Calvert-Lewin did not have a pre-season at all.

Farke says Calvert-Lewin has been doing a mini pre-season alongside team training. The same goes for Dan James, who picked up another injury on Saturday. Noah Okafor has already sustained an injury.
Lukas Nmecha was a doubt for Fulham. Leeds need consistency in the final third but Farke has fielded a different front three in the last three games. The goals will come as the Leeds attack gain some fluency.
