Erling Haaland seems to be keeping a close eye on Jack Grealish’s performances on loan at Everton.
Haaland compared Grealish to Kevin De Bruyne after he provided two assists against Wolves as his start to life at the Hill Dickinson Stadium has been nothing short of superb.
So much so that the Manchester City loanee won the Premier League Player of the Month award recently.
Speaking to Men In Blazers, Erling Haaland admitted that it is “sad” that Grealish left City to sign for Everton on loan.

Haaland revealed he misses joking around with Jack Grealish at Manchester City while acknowledging that such is the nature of football.
Haaland told Everton fans to support Grealish after his move to Merseyside was being speculated, which shows how close he is to the Englishman.

The star striker mentioned that he is especially happy to see the former Aston Villa winger performing consistently for Everton, saying: “Of course, it’s sad that he left us. You know, I cannot joke around with him every single day but again, that’s football. You see him now, he’s happy, he’s playing every game, he’s performing, which is amazing to see, I’m super happy for him, Everton are lucky they have him.”
“I wish him all the best. I hope he continues with this. It’s a bit weird he’s there but that’s football.”

Haaland has always liked Grealish and before the latter joined Everton on loan, the pair won several trophies in tandem; notably, two Premier League titles and the Champions League in a treble-winning season among other pieces of silverware.
