Sverre Nypan did not have much time to train under Pep Guardiola at Manchester City before heading to Middlesbrough on loan.

The 18-year-old played a key role in Middlesbrough’s 2-2 draw against Preston North End on Saturday, as he showed his dancing feet and put a ball in the box that eventually led to Matt Targett’s goal.
Middlesbrough supporters are big fans of Nypan, who has had his say on briefly working with Pep Guardiola.

The teenager told TV2: “Just keep your mouth shut and let him explain what to do. You become a student when you talk to him. He has one of the best football minds you can meet in the world.”
Manchester City view Nypan as a first-team signing and the player himself expressed his desire to play for the Sky Blues’ senior side in the future.
“He always has something to say. I’m looking forward to hopefully working with him more in the future.”
