Manchester City host Manchester United in the 197th derby between the old rivals this afternoon.
Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal have set the pace so far in the Premier League this season with City’s worryingly inconsistent form showing no signs of ending this term.
An opening weekend win over Wolves feels like a time ago with Pep Guardiola’s side losing two on the bounce to Tottenham and Brighton since then.
For all United’s woes, they sit ahead of their neighbours in the table ahead of kick-off but Ruben Amorim’s side remain as unconvincing ever.
Victory over Burnley last time out eased some of the pressure already mounting on the Portuguese coach but another defeat today will thrust him back under the spotlight again.

‘The Hitman’ was a passionate Man City fan, wearing sky blue shorts and using Blue Moon as his walkout song throughout his career, and fought Juan Lazcano at the Etihad in 2008.
It has been reported that Hatton was due to attend today’s game and City have confirmed that there will be a minute’s appreciation ahead of kick-off.
