Chicago was dominant in the first half, but J.J. McCarthy and the Vikings came back in the second half to steal the win.
Caleb Williams completed 21 of 35 passes for 210 yards, one passing touchdown and one rushing touchdown. D.J. Moore led the team with 68 yards, but Rome Odunze was responsible for the team’s lone rushing touchdown.

The Lions also lost their opener to the Green Bay Packers last Sunday, 27-13. The team’s usual explosive offense from last season turned lackluster, only scoring one touchdown toward the end of the fourth quarter on an incredible catch by rookie Isaac TeSlaa.
