Barcelona boss Hansi Flick is not a happy chap after the Spanish international Luis de la Fuente kept youngster Lamine Yamal on the pitch despite being injured.
The mega-talented 18-year-old is a huge player for Barcelona and Spain, and it seems that his importance for his country was so great that the Spanish set-up just pumped the youngster full of painkillers to keep him on the pitch during the international break rather than letting him rest.
Now, the forward is expected to miss the next few games for Barcelona, which is good news for Newcastle United, who face the Spanish giants at St James' Park on Thursday night.
As reported by Fabrizio Romano via X, Hansi Flick has blasted the Spanish FA for making Yamal play through the pain.

Lamine Yamal is a huge doubt for Barcelona for Thursday
A post from FC Barcelona on X also confirmed that Yamal is carrying an injury, but there was no official word on how long the winger would be missing.
INJURY NEWS 🚨
Lamine Yamal is experiencing discomfort in the pubic area and is currently unable to train or play.
His return to training will depend on how his condition evolves.

We don't wish him any harm, but if he could be injured on Thursday, that would be great
It's not exactly classy to revel in a player's misfortune, but when going up against Barcelona, any help we can get is greatly appreciated, so if Barca would just like to wrap Yamal in cotton wool for another week, that would be great.
Barcelona take on Valencia tonight, and we expect Yamal will be missing from the squad, which could give us a good indication of where he's at in terms of fitness for Thursday.
The Spanish side has already won an appeal to have their gaffer in the dugout on Thursday, so let us have this one, eh?
