NFL Week 2 matchup: Cowboys vs. Giants
The Giants were handled in Week 1 by the Washington Commanders (21-6) in a contest where they couldn’t get much going through the air (17 of 37 for 157 yards) or on the ground, averaging 3.2 yards on their 23 carries. The G-Men defense also struggled to hold up to the Commanders run game, as Jayden Daniels and company rushed for 220 yards and averaged 6.9 yards per tote.

The Cowboys were game competitors opening up the season last Thursday night against the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles, but ultimately fell on the road (24-20) after the offense was blanked in the second half. Dallas outgained the Eagles (307-302) and averaged more yards per play (5.5), but lost the turnover battle (1-0) and had nearly 10 fewer minutes of possession in the loss.
