Liverpool clinched another thrilling last-minute victory when Mohamed Salah's injury-time penalty secured them a win against 10-man Burnley.
Salah found the back of the net in the fifth minute of injury time after Burnley substitute Hannibal Mejbri handled Jeremie Frimpong's cross to concede a blatant penalty, undoing all the hard work the newly-promoted side had done to keep out the Premier League champions for more than 90 minutes.
The home team had already been reduced to 10 men after Lesley Ugochukwu was shown a second yellow card on the 84th minute for a foul on Florian Wirtz - after he could have seen red in the first half for a controversial tackle on Alexis Mac Allister, who later went off injured.
This result propels Arne Slot's team three points clear at the top of the early Premier League standings, maintaining their perfect start to their title defence - despite a less than impressive showing today. Here's Liverpool's player ratings from Turf Moor, reports the Liverpool Echo.

Alisson Becker
He safely watched an early shot sail over but otherwise observed Liverpool's struggling attack from afar. 6.
Dominik Szoboszlai
He pressured Burnley off the ball several times but couldn't contribute much in attack from right-back before becoming significantly more influential in midfield in the second half. 7.
Ibrahima Konate
His defending and distribution were not the most convincing, but he made no major errors and sent a difficult header over from a corner before the break. Substituted. 6.
Virgil van Dijk
Aside from one careless pass into midfield, his defensive duties were uneventful and he spent much of the second half in Burnley's territory, but was imperious in the air. 6.
Milos Kerkez

Booked for an unconvincing dive in an attempt to secure a penalty, he appeared full of nerves and shaky in defence. He didn't pose much of a threat offensively and was hauled off before half-time to avoid a potential sending off. Subbed. 3.
Ryan Gravenberch
The only Liverpool player who seemed capable of breaking down the Burnley defence in the first half, and came close with a powerful drive shortly after the break. A solid performance. 8.
Alexis Mac Allister
Took a heavy hit from Ugochukwu early on which clearly affected his game, leading to him being subbed at half-time. 6.
Mohamed Salah
Struggled to make an impact against Hartman before the interval and was often left isolated on the right. He became more involved in the second half but made too many wrong decisions, although he kept his cool to score the winning goal from the penalty spot. 6.
Florian Wirtz
Worked hard to find space and had more success in the second half, dragging one shot wide, but failed to significantly influence the attack - although he did win the foul from which Ugochukwu was sent off, changing the game late on. Subbed. 6.
Cody Gakpo
His corner deliveries from the left were threatening, but his crosses when cutting in didn't amount to much. His performance waned in the second half. 5.
Hugo Ekitike
Crowded by defenders and not given much service in the first half, but showed some good touches and created a half-chance for himself. Subbed. 6.
Substitutes
Andy Robertson (for Kerkez 38)
Immediately made an impact with Liverpool's first shot on target and his cross later created a chance for Chiesa. 7.
Conor Bradley (for Mac Allister 46)
Added speed and urgency to the right flank and frequently appeared in the box. Booked. 6.
Federico Chiesa (for Ekitike 72)
Sent a decent header wide with his first touch. 6.
Rio Ngumoha (substituted for Wirtz at 87 minutes).
He managed to create a scoring opportunity for Frimpong. 7.
Jeremie Frimpong (substituted for Konate at 87 minutes).
