NFL Week 2 matchup: Patriots vs. Dolphins
The Patriots fell at home in Week 1 to a revamped Las Vegas Raiders team that won the second half and found success attacking the New England defense through the air (333 passing yards). New England took to the air early and often to keep pace, with Maye attempting 46 passes to just 18 run plays. Maye threw for 287 yards and a touchdown but took to the air too often for coach Mike Vrabel’s liking. “We have to be more balanced,” Vrabel told the Associated Press after the game.

The Dolphins face perhaps bigger and more severe questions with momentum seemingly slowing for coach Mike McDaniel and his pairing with quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. Miami was blown out by the Indianapolis Colts in Week 1 (33-8) and didn’t get on the scoreboard until facing a 30-0 deficit in the final seven minutes. Tagovailoa threw for just 114 yards and committed three turnovers in the losing effort.
The Patriots and Dolphins are set for a 1 p.m. ET start on CBS. Live streams are available from FuboTV (free trial), DirecTV (free trial) and Paramount+ (free trial).
