ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal joined the Henry County Sheriff’s Office for the annual “Ride For Unity” on Saturday.
O’Neal and Sheriff Reginald Scandrett led the ride.
The annual event aims to bring law enforcement together with the community and partners on motorcycles, trikes and slingshots.
“Sheriff and his staff have done a great job of bringing people together,” O’Neal said. “(It) keeps getting bigger and bigger, you know, we all have something in common. Everybody loves bikes, everybody loves music, so we gonna ride.”
Several agencies attended the event, including the Atlanta Police Department and the Fulton and Cobb County sheriff’s offices.
