Former Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho has taken to social media after making his debut for Chelsea on Saturday night.
The 21-year-old completed the £40million switch to Stamford Bridge during the summer transfer window and made his first appearance in Chelsea’s thrilling 2-2 draw at Brentford. He came on in the 79th minute, just before Brentford scored to regain the lead.
In the end, the west Londoners failed to secure all three points as Fabio Carvalho equalised in the 93rd minute.
Posting a message on Instagram the following day, Garnacho wrote: "Very happy to wear this shirt for the first time. See you Wednesday in UCL (Uefa Champions League). Thanks for the support blues."

Jamie Redknapp criticised the Argentina international for 'falling asleep,' allowing Carvalho to drift free in the box and grab a late point for Brentford.
"What happens as it develops is this is the key battle. Garnacho has a job to do, he's got to mark Carvalho," Redknapp explained, identifying the winger and Carvalho on screen on Sky Sports. "That's your job. Simple as that.
"Don't lose him, you're now one of the defensive players in here. If he gets in behind you, it's on you. Everybody else is trying to win that first contact; it's not easy, Brentford have got some big guys. But Garnacho just falls asleep at the vital moment. Ball comes in, Garnacho's not concentrating, they get that contact and there [Carvalho] is at the back post."
Meanwhile, Shay Given also criticised the winger's reaction prior to the Bees' goal. "Keep an eye on Garnacho at the back, I know he’s an attacking player but he had a warning before," the former goalkeeper said on Match of the Day.
"All Garnacho has to do is mark his man and Brentford don’t score. He switches off and reacts too late. His body shape is all wrong, he’s watching the ball, he should be glued to Carvalho, man-to-man. He switches off, he reacts after but it’s too late, the ball is in the back of the net. It’s poor defending, but Brentford deserve credit."
