In the third-place game of EuroBasket 2025, Greece survived a late rally by Finland, winning by a final score of 92-89 to claim the tournament’s bronze medal.
Greece led for nearly 38 minutes of the 40-minute contest and never trailed. While they were up by double-digits for the majority of the game, including a 17-point lead with four minutes left (Twitter link via HoopsHype), Finland nearly pulled off a dramatic comeback, getting to within one possession in the closing seconds before coming up short.
