After starting the season with a 14-9 win over Houston, the Rams proved they are still one of the teams to beat in the NFC. Matthew Stafford brushed off the injury concerns from the preseason by throwing for 245 yards, 130 of which went to Puka Nacua. As long as their quarterback can stay healthy for the entirety of the season, Los Angeles will have a decent chance of returning to the postseason.
Cam Ward underwhelmed in his NFL debut, but the number one overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft will be given plenty of time to develop into a franchise-level quarterback. He completed only 42.9 percent of his passes for 112 yards, but it's premature to judge his performance until he has at least a couple of starts under his belt. Ward showed a lot of promise last year at Miami and has all the tools to develop into a quality player in this league.
